February is here, and we all know what that means - Valentine’s Day! Couples all over the country shower their other half with tokens of affection like roses, candy, jewelry, weekend getaways…sometimes even proposals. Some people excitedly await  this annual explosion of red and pink, while others wish they could close their eyes and wake up in March. This year, are you dreading the 14th because there is no 1-4 you? 😜

Corny jokes aside, we get that V-Day leaves a lot of people feeling lonely. It’s like some imaginary alarm goes off on February 1st, and all the singles in the land head off to the races, looking for love in all the wrong places.

It doesn’t help that dating apps are enough to drive anyone nuts. When you aren’t lucky enough to meet someone organically, things that shouldn’t matter become top priority - What’s your body type? What do you do for work? Where do you live? What’s your sign? A world of possibilities whittles down to a checklist of musts, and dates begin to feel like job interviews. No thank you.

How about this? Put the search on pause for a sec and look at the person in the mirror. The greatest love of all is staring right at you, so you better love it back. There’s no need to fake it with someone who isn’t in it for the long haul. The real thing may not come along tomorrow. Hell, it may not even happen this year. Just be patient; the universe will bring it to you when you least expect it. In the meantime, have fun, enjoy your independence, and live life to the fullest. Being single is just as much of a gift as being in love.

But if you’re STILL looking for a partner with that damn checklist of musts, we’ve got a potential match for ya:
