From Joliet, IL, known to him as the “middle of nowhere”, this designer, co-director, and content creator expresses his colorful aesthetic with contagious confidence and a megawatt smile. He’s no stranger to cameras, and he’s as enthused being behind one as he is when he’s in the spotlight.
Well, we put the spotlight on him to find out his take on everything from nature and staying in shape to music and what it means to be a Cool Cat.
How is nature and outdoors important for you?
It’s just my way of clearing my mind, I guess. I just love hiking and camping and I just like being in nature. So it’s very important to me to set time aside to make sure I’m doing something outdoors.
What are your thoughts about exercising, adventure and wellness?
Exercise plays a huge role in my life and so does wellness. I love taking care of my body and giving myself the proper nutrients and vitamins I need to just have energy for the day and do what I can.
What are your views on community and friendship?
Community and friendship are very important to me. I keep those that are close to me very close because unfortunately there’s a lot of bad people in the world. So it’s very important to me to be involved in those communities I care about, and also just being involved in my friends’ lives, whether they’re in a different community or not, supporting them and showing love where I can.

A Cool Cat, to me, is a group of people who have their own style and aesthetic and just carry their confidence in a different way than other people do, and they’re not afraid to show it.
How do you march to your own beat?
I’m just very confident in what I do and I don’t care what other people think of me.
What do you like the most about summer?
I feel like everyone is just super excited and happy, and everyone’s in a good mood, smiling, so it just makes me happy.

I would say smiley, love, and colorful.
Can you describe a summer pool day in one sentence?
Sitting back with friends with a cooler of Cool Cats.
What’s your relationship with music?
Music means a lot of different things to me. It carries a lot of emotions for me, and can determine how I am that day. Sometimes it changes my moods for the better and sometimes for the worse. It’s kind of a mix of or an array of things. I love music, though. At the end of the day it helps me create and get my mind off things.
What is your favorite flavor?
Definitely the Berry Cool Cat.
What’s the first thing that you taste?
(After a sip, he chuckles) I taste berries right away.
How does that make you feel?
I’m smiling right now, so it definitely makes me feel happy.
